  1. It appears that it is safe to use AI for inspiration in writing and illustrating.
Reporting it snd the results or consequences are unknown as of yet when it comes to publishing it. Need more about how to have a conversation (by text) with some of the AI programs…

  2. Excellent! I really like how Gary poses questions like, “How do you want to be known as an author?” when it comes to the use of AI. And he presents many ethical concrete ways we can use it. Thank you!

  3. Is the $47 price ONLY for attendees of ChildrensBooksMastery? Or can I sign up for same course next summer when I begin writing full time. (I’m juggling other courses to learn the writing trade (signed up for 4 that
    i have yet to attend).

  4. Gary! It’s great to see you again! You were a wonderful coach for book writing with another publishing school! I am trying to write a children’s book now! Reach out to say hello! I’ve been curious how you are doing!

  5. Gary identifies good information to be aware of since AI usage has become controversial, especially with Amazon.

I have used ChatGPT for idea generation and it does work quite well. “Fact checking” and “giving it feedback” are good tips. One thing I have learned is that ChatGPT responses are not current up to date info (if that is important). You are required to subscribe (pay) to get current data from the internet.

I was hoping Gary would provide the latest techniques on “prompting” as well as insight into some of the new and improved AI systems that are now available. Identifying an AI system that gives current or more accurate data without subscribing, that would have been a great tip.

Overall Gary provides good information to both new and experienced AI users.
    Thank you.

    1. Hey Larry! We cover this in our free guide (I co-created it with Gary) on AI for authors… as well as in our course series. That’s where we dive DEEP.

  6. Gary and Karen! What a great and important conversation. I love the consideration of ethics and protecting creativity… both our own and those of illustrators as well. Gary is my go-to guy for all things productivity, prioritization, results… definitely grab his guide and take the free quiz!

  7. Thank you Gary for right off the bat saying how less than ethical it is to have ai write for the author or do the work of traditional illustrators. I love and appreciate your passion for the creative process, recognizing that AI is mostly just mixing and matching and regurgitating what others have created.
