A fabulous talk with a ton of good advice and information. You have a lovely manner, Richard. I wanted to access the free book, but one has to have a Kindle account. I’ll try setting one up, but if I have to have a kindle, then I won’t get very far. I prefer books that one physically turns the pages of and can put in a preferred bookmark. The time will come when I have to get with the times! I’m in some avoidance still. Thanks so much for a wonderful session.

My major takeaway from this session is the importance of getting reviews as a story validation and great tips about how to do that.
In which concerns ChatGPT writing English stories for those who do not even know English, I think it’s unfair and it can be settled from the beginning by platforms with a label for the audience that would love to read stories written by AI and pay for them. On a more personal basis, I welcome it more like a gigantic computer to which you can turn from anywhere and anytime for information or for research. I spent years researching and reading in the library and I’d love to click a button from the park or the beach. I think it’s awesome in the middle of some animation to have the mind deepened in interesting research or a selection of readings by ChatGPT. A privilege of these modern times!
I agree with you that robots don’t have that human dimension. It’s normal: they don’t have a heart or soul, but a rechargeable battery instead. Therefore, they cannot understand what it means to have a ‘broken heart’ or that the ‘soul hurts.’ It’s interesting to see if WE can program THEM to write about it as naturally as it feels. Some people fear they might. I don’t – not for now.
